I am new to these forums, this is my first post, but not new to the game. I am a Driver fanatic I loved 1 and 2 and this looks very good. Talk about going through the city in around 30 real time minutes. Good stuff isn't it. :D I think this game is going to awe Grand theft auto fans. At school they always talk about GTA THIS GTA THAT and I say what do you think about Driver 3 and they say HUH? So I am not sure that many people are going to be looking up at this game. But after many trailers on TV and all the good reviews probably they are going to change their mind. So if you guys are tired of my long post:haha: or are just getting mad at me:mad: are awed of how much I wrote:eek: Hope you all getting this game I am sure that I will,.

Welcome, I believe we are all fanatics of the Driver series.
Write as much as you like, just stay away from senseless threads.

I had a feeling we would be seeing a load of new comers once the forums link opened on the official site and it came here.

Definitely! I have been eagerly awaiting for Driver 3 since I finished Driver 2 back in 2000. All I know is that I can't wait. Soon those clueless, GTA-minded kids will regret forgetting about Driver. I know for 100% that I will be glued to my TV after Driver 3's release. :D

Same here. I think D3's success might be about the same as GTA3, people forgot about the GTA series, and then started realizing the new one was worth buying, and then it kept selling out. I hope I can get by without pre-ordering. It would be a shame if I didn't and went to the store the day it came out and there were no copies left. Hopefully that won't happen until after I get it.

I wouldn't worry matt, the initial run of the game is going to be HUGE. I pre-order games nut even when I don't I have never gone to get a game and have it sold out. A gaming store may pre-sell their first allotment but department stores always have them and the don't pre-sell.

I remember a few months after it came out I still couldn't find VC. I guess it didn't matter though cause they started carding you and I still had a few more months to wait til I was 17. Even then the guy asked me if my mom said it was ok for me to have it, lol.

Most people don't follow gaming release dates, there are rarely advertised and have a tendency to change a lot. If you keep track of dates, which most hard core gamers do, you can beat the rush since you know when it is in stores and most go by word of mouth.

I know one thing...I am going to be the first person in line for Driver 3 in our town. Then after I have it in my hands...I will scream like Ned Flanders. After that...days upon days in my room havin' a whoopin' time. lol

Yeah, I'll get home and won't do my homework. Won't matter, only a few weeks of school left by June 1st anyway.
