In DRIV3R, Tanner is still a cop. But do you all think that the storyline will ever change (which is Tanner being on the good side of the law).

Probably not, undercover cop is close enough to being a real cop (boring cop), and that doesn't make the best game.

Tanner is a and always will be a good guy. He is kinda like Bond in the sense that he has the authority to do what is necessary to finish the job, including collateral damage.

Although there is a picture of M.E. I has posted here and behind him they have some promo posters that say:

BAD
BOTH

So you never know, maybe next times he will fall into the life of crime.
