Here's one for the I-War Illuminati:

There doesn't appear to be an assigned key for max thrust or full stop. If there isn't, is there a tweak I can add to the mouse.ini that enables it.

Possibly even a way to configure the mouse wheel to control thrust? ;)

I know, I know.. Chan! Hook up your joystick, Chan..
Y'know what? I don't wanna. ;)

Depends which game or concept you're talking about.

In original I-War/Defiance, the F5 key used to be the full stop autopilot.

I think they deemed it unnecessary in EoC however, since Flight Assist will return you to 0 mps as long as you don't use any thrust or throttle.

I really don't know what you mean by "max thrust" however. Do you mean max throttle?

EDIT: I don't think the mouse wheel is bindable in EoC. On top of that, i really cannot stress enough that 'throttle' type control is pretty useless in EoC, and that it is much more practical to rely on WASD thrust, which affords more flexibility. Throttle *occasionally* is helpful for steathy missions where you need to remote pilot a drone without letting it get too fast or too bright on sensors.

I used throttle plenty of times for cruise flights while looking up the starmap or reading something. As for the "stealthy" missions, I found it plenty stealthy to disengage the flight assist and use thrust override to get the craft up to a good clip, and avoided any other thrust unless necessary (path corrections, etc). As you get closer to the target, you simply reverse thrust override (or just keep gliding close enough to the target til the cutscene cuts in, if applicable).

I don't think i've ever needed to turn off flight assist, because for steath runs, setting the throttle will get you up to speed and then only emply thrust if you change something.

Parias said once that it can be helpful in combat to turn it off, but since most of the combat is pretty easy anyway after practice, that i never felt the need.
