The Driv3r website mentions "Innovative Thrill Cam"...I wonder what that is? Inside view maybe?

Some camera option, when you are driving you can press a button and everything slows down... something like that.

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!
not another game with bullet-time. The games that use that are always dumb and Driver has always been a game that had no stupid bells and whistles and is just straight forward action driving.
If that is actually called the thrill camera, then this is what I heard about it: when driving, you can press down two buttons (maybe L1, R1) which will give you a more cinematic, slower view of the action. You can still control the car, but instead of viewing a spectacular crash from behind, you are shown the accident from a more move-like angle. I'm neutral about this, since I'm taking a "wait and see" approach.

What would make me really mad is if that option were only allowed during gameplay, and not in the Film Director... which wouldn't make sense, but Reflections is like that. :sour:

The Thrill Cam is for during game play. By pressing down on both shoulder buttons simultaneously, (not sure of the exact buttons for PS2 or XBOX) you slow down the action and switch to a more cinematic view, external camera. You retain control of your vehicle, and the harder you press the buttons, the more you can slow things down. It is intended to make jumps and crashes more exhilarating
The director mode will be able to do what ever you want from what ever angle.

To me the Thrill cam sounds pretty good, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
But however it turns out its not like you have to use it.

but I mean slow motion and blur effect for Film Director, not the same exact thing as the Thrill Cam... Martin Edmondson said that there will be more options for cameras and stuff, what else could they be?

yeah, that sounds a lot better than just a bullet time camera. It is really a wait and see kind of thing, but sounds great.

According to PSM2 you can do it on foot too, which is good. And really, like someone else said, if you really hate bullet time that much, its JUST AN EXTRA FEATURE. Its not like the Matrix movies where it cut into slow mo every few seconds, unless you do it like that.

Maybe change color graphics, fast/ slow motion, camera changes with music etc....
