I've been playing for a long time, and recently had to reinstall the game. Now when I go to install the bonus packs, I get the error message:
The feature you are tyring to use is on a CDROM or other removable disk that is not available. Insert the Unreal disk and click OK.
I assume this meant the UT disk, so I insert UT disk, and get this message:
The path d:\unreal.msi cannot be found.
So...why is it that I can't install these? I've tried all the .umod files I can find (bonus packs 1-4) and get the same error with all of them. Any help would be much appreciated.

Msi file extensions are Windows installer files. When you reinstalled UT, did it go ok, I mean no weird errors or problems? You may want to try reinstalling UT or possibly try restoring the default msi file associations. You can grab a program here http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm (providing you run XP) to do that for you. I'm not sure if there are any possible side effects from using that program that may screw up other things on your puter, but I've used it with good results.
