IWar2 Crashing

My IWar2 seems to be crashing at random intervals. I can't seem to pinpoint any one activity that causes the crash. Ive tried lowering the graphics settings all the way in case its a graphics problem, but, no luck. Any idea what the problem might be?

What are your system specs? I turned off sound effects and it seems to reduce crashes dramatically...

400MHz AMD-K6, 256 megs ram, ATI Rage Pro AGP 4x. The game runs lag free except for the crashes. I tried turning off sound in flux.ini, but, no luck.

This is a shot in the dark but try updating your video card driver (and turn sound back on). You really should get a newer video card though... Rage Pro is WAY too old...

If all else fails, try changing use_w_buffer to 0 in the flux.ini

Yea, I know its old, but, im getting a new laptop in a month or two, so I dont wanna put any more money into this computer :) Ill give your suggestion a try.
