I-War won't run on my new machine

I never finished I-War back when I first got it 4 years ago. After I install it, I always crash to desktop. There were 3 different launch icons, and I tried all 3. Then I patched to version 1.24? from the website. Again, I keep crashing to desktop. I have an ATI 9600xt, windows xp, 512 ram, and a 1.6 intel p4.

Is this game playable with my setup?

And make sure that you have the virtual memory on your pc set to 512mb or less.

You can even run it in hi-res modes :D
