I wonder if people take the multiple post purges seriously?
And, what about all the information that was lost....

When newbies show up looking for game hints they probably evaluate the forum by the level of usefull, avaliable information and don't even bother to stick around.

absolutely. when i encounter a new forum i gauge it offhand more from its apparent age, ie post backlog, than by its current activity. but im seldom looking for a place like this - to waste time chatting - when im doing it.

anyway, its not a milestone, i was here this time yesterday and there were fresh posts, and im here today and there are some. and there'll be one more in a minute

Well my wl is both proof positive of the reality & stupidity of the multi-post purges (there was an un penalised triple post in the same thread) :sour:
