I want to take a walk through Cedar Point...

So I have a question. If I walked from the front of the park to the back and back again. How far would that be in feet or miles? Just wondering.

Uh, it's about 15 minutes walking at a fast pace! As hard as it is to believe, I don't have an exact measurement for the park's midway length. But, the Cedar Point Beach is about 3 miles long. Taking that into account, I would estimate that the park's length is about 1.5 miles, so round-trip would be about 3 miles. A second bit of data can support it: the average person walks about 3 miles per hour, so, at that pace, it would take about 20 minutes to go 1 mile. My 15 minute daily walk while working at the park went from about the Space Spiral to the middle of Frontiertown, so it wasn't quite the full length of the park, and I walked quite a bit faster than the average pace.

Paste: I just got your PM with the phone number. Double D'Oh! Kim and I also entered via the Magnum entrance, but we didn't get there until just after the line started moving in. (We overslept by a couple of minutes.) I gave a quick once-over look at the line, but didn't see you there, so you must have been either gotten into the park while we were waiting in the remarkably long line, or you got there after us. Ah well -- hopefully we'll meet up some other time this summer!

Well, it took my friend and I, who are both cross coutnry runners (We had on running shorts and t-shirts), 7 minutes 26 seconds exact to run to Gemini to be on the first train. We are going to try it this weekend for getting ont he Mine Ride. I think that this is a pretty amusing method of riding roller coasters. Some other fun methods of riding rides are to follow random people around the park and ride the rides they ride, or to write down the rides names ona piece of paper, and then randomly selecting a name. (yoiu can do this by making strips and pulling them froma hat, closing your eyes and pointing, or doing eni meni miny mo)
