I was wondering which victory people achieved the first. For me its the antaran X's with customized Cynoids.

Just as my game was getting going I won the senete victory...

Remains to be seen, have started many, but have yet to finish one. I woul really like to beat "roy" (out back, with a lead pipe). Will prob end up being a senate. Maybe I will Dubya it, and nuke my neighbors.

Is senate that bad? Why?

If you don't mind diplomacy, then being in the senate is actually kinda fun. I expect that it would be really good in mp where everyone is looking out for their best interests. Problem is, the game generally ends around turn 200-250 in a "stock" game. Just when you start getting all the good techs!:rolleyes: So you might want to turn off this win if you're wanting to play a longer game.

May use Senate for BaseRelations Testing but not for a "serious" long game.

I know senate victory is prettly lame but it takes to damn long to fulfill other conditions. My games usually last well past 500 turns as is.
