Well, I downloaded a demo of civ3. I purchased the license. Every time I quit the game it would crash and I would get an error message.
Today when I tried to start civ3, my whole system crashed. The only way to get my system running again was to do a system restore, which wiped out civ3.
I have tried to undo the restore, but that option is not available. I have looked in the system volume info folder.....it is empty.
Sooooooo now I have lost the product which I paid for and for which I have no disk to reinstall. Not only that, I have lost a lot of data, and my system is not behaving properly.
Is there anyway to replace my lost civ3? Any ideas on where my lost data may be found, or is it gone into the void?
Thanks,
-John Kennedy
