I have gone to the ice prison many times and the big boss never shows up. The cutscene starts but nothing happens. Cannot go any further. What can I do?

What are your computer specs?

My operating system is a pentium 3 440 mhz, 576 mb ram,120 gb hard drive, directx 9.0, 128 mb video

Is your graphics card an NVIDIA one or an ATI one (or something else)? And are the drivers for your graphics card up to date?

If you have a GeForce, under Performance and compatibility options in the OpenGL Settings of your Advanced Display Properties, do you have something like "Disable support for enhanced CPU instruction sets" and is it checked?

And what's your sound card? Does it have up-to-date drivers?

One other thing you can try is lowering your graphics settings. (I know, it sounds weird, but someone with a generally-capable graphics card said this worked for them.)

If it still doesn't work, we can try spawning the guardian in and changing his faction (so you can kill him and continue on).


Edit : I re-checked something...it might have to be a move-to command rather than a spawn-in since the guardian is already spawned in an unreachable place on the map.

Yes all drivers are up to date and functioning. Finally found an answer in the forums at nwn. it took a little while to figure it out because I've never had a problem before. Had to promt a debugmode, which got me to where he was hiding. Thanks for the help.
