MSVCRT.DLL problem

when i try to install WoT on this computer, win2kpro service pack 4, i get an error "Error: MSVCRT.DLL is not compatible with Win32s." when i click OK i get "(title)CicMarchalWndILI: setup.exe - Application Error(/title) The applicaiton failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142)."

this happened when i attempted to install the demo as well and is frustrating me to no end <_< any ideas on what could help?

ah i fixed it. some time i tried to run a program using the windows compatibility tool, it must have stuffed up something in there somewhere. i ran the setup using that on win98 compatibility and it all works fine now, even when i dont run them with the compatibility tool
