Is this more of a "Mafia" type game, realistic, deep, & story based. Or is it more of an GTA game, comical, exaggerated, & simple.

ex: Are you speeding around exotic cars with unrealistic physics driving over pedestrians and knocking down street lamps?

Can you enter buildings? (walking missions?)

Is there realistic rush hour traffic, or do u see a couple of cars per block.

Does the city look realistic and gritty, or colorfull and blocky (vice city)

thnx,

Yes you can enter buildings, it doesn't matter if the mission requires it or not.
The traffic isn't very "realistic", and at least I dont get the feeling of being in a large city like Miami. And when your in a vehicle, that specific vehicle tend to appear alot more often than when you're not in it. E.g. if you're riding a motorbike you'll see more motorbikes than you would if you weren't riding a motorbike.
The cities look very realistic and they are highly detailed plus very large. Vice City is nothing compared to the cities in Driv3r.

The game is more like Mafia than GTA, yes. You can't run down bigger lightpoles, the handling of the cars is superb and there are both crappy and nice cars.

...why don't you look at screenshots and read previews to answer alot of those questions. we did that 2 years ago, and the game still isn't released for another week and 1/2.

sorry, i thought the game was released.

I'v read previews and screenshots, but they don't tell u much.

I liked the preview for "True Crime" but was very disapointed in the game.

Mafia is the best game I've ever played.
The city looks and feels like a real city. Cars handle realistically (almost too realistic), Great story. Good traffic engine, smart pedestrian & traffic AI. Lots of foot missions, no gansters shooting randomly in the streets, no flipping your car 3 times then driving off.

For realism fans, Mafia is the best game ever. I loved it. It had great writing, graphics, and physics. It will never get better...untill June 21st. When the **** hits the fan.
