Tis the season to go on coaster trips apparantly. Seems like everybody is beginning their "coaster tours 04", and much like anybody affected by peer pressure, (just kidding there), I feel like I must do the same thing... So 7/10-7/18, I am off for fun in the sun, with my roomate and college friend, into the great state of Florida. So we have most things in order, a generalized plan, but was looking for a little piece of advice. Now we dont intend to spend the entire time theme parking since we are heading to Daytona Beach for a few days, but we are going to spend some time doing that. We plan to hit Islands of Adventure and possibly Disney.

1) Is Disney really worth hitting as a 24 year old guy? Last time I was there, I was 8, but still, is it worth going at my age?

2) Is IOA a park you can spend all day end, or are you better off getting the pass that lets you in Universal Studios as well... I would love to ride the Mummy you know.

Well the countdown is on, and I cannot wait to go. This is my very first time flying and I havent been on a major vacation in 7 years. Woo hoo. So let the countdown begin, and please respond back if you can offer any advice or information regarding things to do and see, theme park related or not. Orlando/Daytona, here we come.

Personally, I enjoy visiting Disney, but then, I'm just a big kid! :D I enjoy the visual stuff as well as the thrill rides. Plus, the engineer in me likes to see the technology at work for entertainment purposes. EPCOT and MGM Studios are more adult-oriented than Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom.

It is possible to spend a full day at either IOA or Universal. In fact, my girlfriend and I spent one full day at each back in February.

Well it looks as if the first three days will be spent in daytona-the last 5 in the orlando area. So the last goal is to find a rental car. Grrrr.... now that is a challenge in itself, and shopping around for THAT is not done easily. And if its interesting to engineers, well hell, I'd like it. :D
