if you ask me it's not so bad to rent games first and try the out.
most of the time we have to pay big buck for games and they turn out crap later on.
examples that cost me dearly.(and wish i hired them first)

The Getaway wasn't that bad. Most people that didn't like it are the same ones trying to crucify Driv3r: Because the controls aren't exactly like GTA....

With True Crime, I had fun for about a month with that game. Then it got old.

Ill agree to that one, just got done playing it, i was fight zombies... WTF is zombies doing in current day LA! the game went from ok to absolute crud.

Ill just take the cd drive out and replace it, its been infected...

man, wake up. it's not that the game wasn't good(it wasn't, but o.k).
the fact, and i'm sure people will agree, that they promised us a revolution of how gaming should be.
that was not the case, in fact, i have never seen police behave that stupid.
plus, they made me wait for that dud for about 2.5 years. everytime telling that it is around the corner.
and concerning true crime. the whole thing plays crap.
nice ideas, bad programming.+the cars handle like a n64 racing game.

Dude, the Getaway was not that bad. I really enjoyed the excellent story. The out of the car experience was totally something new for me. Its to be able to take hostages and duck behind cars. The graphics were awesome. I agree that it didnt live up to the hype but that was just an example of what can be done. The thing I hated abut it most was the car experience, why the hell was there no map...it would od been nice to be able to explore without memorizing the city. THe controls for the cars also sucked, you cant look to side or behind you. But other than that it was worth getting. The Getaway 2 is comming out next spring.

i'm thinkin about buying The Getaway and True Crime off of ebay for around 15 bucks each. i have played a little of The Getaway at my friends house and it was ok but i have never played True Crime, is it pretty good?

hmm....games just arnt enough nowadays....i remember when i first got midtown maddnass 3 for xbox...i loved it.but now u hav to be able to get out of the car and take someone elses and then shoot them when they get out...ITS AWSOME!!!!! driver2 came up with that exciting new idea of jacking cars.....

yep. i've been watching videos and screens of driver 3 since before christmas saying "that be a hella sweet xbox game when i get one" and now its 2 days from release, i'm getting teh cash tomorrow, and my parents wont let me get it because

1. they think i wont like it
2. i have blockbuster gamepass
3. they didnt have videogames when they smoked pot in the 60's
