New Iron Dragon Paintjob

I keep hearing of this new paintjob for Iron Dragon. What dos it look like, and can I see some photos?

It's red and orange now. It's not the exact same colors as Mantis, but they're complimentary colors so that whole little section with Mantis, Dragster and Iron Dragon kind of matches now. I'll be going this Saturday, I might bring my camera and take some pictures. If I do, I'll put them up. At any rate, it's quite a shock after all these years of seeing it that faded red and gray or tan or whatever it was supposed to be. Kind of like seeing Wildcat for the first time last year, only not quite as shocking and revolting.

It looks like they slapped Nacho Cheese all over the supports. It is that color. Like a yellowish orange.

The new Nacho Cheese paint job does compliment that area quite well. It is even starting to grow on me a little bit. Of course, I'm not sure if I like the teal or blue/green cars match the new paint scheme all that much.

The only problem I have with the new paint job now is that everytime I look at the ride, I feel the urge to go get some nachos and cheese.... :D

I must admit that I prefer the beige posts, but I also understand what Cedar Fair is trying to do. They want a bright and colorful atmosphere to provide a cheery appearance. In the case of Iron Dragon, I think it's a better choice to try and blend with the woods through which it travels, but the ride definitely is brighter with the new color scheme, so it's meeting the Cedar Fair goals.

ya, I dont like the new paint job, it looks 2 much like TTD. I definately like th old Iron DRagon. Also, sicne they havent changed the cars or station, it looks even worse. bright nacho colors definately do not go with dark green.

That looks horrible! If only I had some tortillia chips and nacho cheese right now. I think that CP should repaint the trains.
