Any Difference? (PS2)

Is there any difference in PS2 console's that are being manufactured now then When they were being manufactured when they first come out?

Yes there is.

1. The ones now have progressive scan DVD readers.
2. Cheaper made disk reading lenses.
3. No S-Video link.
4. Weighs less.
5. No grating on around the fan and front vetillation systems.
6. Has DVD remote sensor built in.
Thats all I can see cosmeticly, but there might be some internal changes too.

None I should think, the newer ones are also have very quiet fans.
