Car hauler truck (Dolma 8M8)

In Prima's strategy guide they say that you can get the Dolma 8M8 (in Nice) and deploy the ramp [in free ride] to load a car like in the mission Hijack. But me nor my friend can do it except for in that mission. Can you guys do it? If so, then how?

Yeah; I thought that maybe since thats how you operated the forklift then it would work there too. But in the mission you just go to the button and press L1. In Free Ride, he just runs to the passenger side door.

Wrong vehicle. The Dolma 8M8 isnt an 18 wheeler. Sorry for not specifying that because it sounds like it is.

You don't release the ramp while you are in the truck, you release it by pishing the button on the outside of the truck (near back)

I know, but when I go to the button and press L1, Tanner just runs to the door.

I think you can only use that feature for the perticular mission. I tried everything to get it to open but it did nothing.If you blow one of them up ou can see the ramp in the wreckage. Guess they forgot to include the opening of the doors in Take A Ride mode. SuXXX.

I noticed the wreckage too and that the doors fell off. That was after I got mad at it and blew it sky high:) . I wish you could load a car on there.

Yeah that would be pretty sweet. I am going to ask some poeple on the GameFAQs message board if they might know something about it.
