i know everyone has been comparing driv3r to gta. i am a big gta fan but a big driv3r fan as well. gta is fun as hell when it comes to the amount of things you can do, however, driv3r has better physics better damage models and better grahpics. gunning people down is more fun too as well as shooting at vehicles. in gta i was just killing people. in driv3r i feel like im gunning them down which makes me laugh. the police is something of a big upgrade with driv3r. if you speed run red lights or do anything stupid, a cop reacts. same with carjacking and killing someone. they respond to scene and if you are gone they know nothing about you. in gta, dont matter where you at the cops find you which is something stupid and you can run red lights and speed and they do nothing. that alone in driv3r is a big plus to me.
overall i enjoy both. each game has its own pros and cons. some say driv3r was a disappointment but i believe some folks were expecting too much. from what i have played and seen with driv3r i give it a 9/10 cause it simply kicks butt. only thing i miss is shooting out of vehicles.
some also say it gets boring but i can honestly sit there for hours mowing people down and crashing with cars. i also enjoy that forklift so i can pickup cars and toss them around. dont see whats so boring about that. guess some people expect alot like i said before.
