could u help me to stop makiing drvi3r freeze ccause i got the thompson CRAP...is there a way to fix it, if not is it possible to buy a better 1 and how much and which 1??

I recomend trading ur thomson xbox with a new one(without a thomson). Not just for driv3r but for future games as well. Well i dunno how much it will cost. Go to ur local game store which accepts used consoles.

They didnt give u a bad xbox...u just bougth the first generation xboxs, which came around the first year the xbox came out. The first gen contained the thomson drive which microsoft discontinued it due to the disk reading errors.

The cost of an xbox now is 150 bucks. Trading the one u have may give u about 60-85 bucks.

wheter ps2, xbox, a new military abom, or even the newest merc that has more computer power than a spaceshuttle from 1980.
always, i say always wait for the 2nd or 3rd generation.

open the tray, the latest generation of xbox will have 2 holes in it, about the size of a dime. if this is the case, you can be sure it's the real deal.

I bought my PS2 when it came out. Forword to 2004 it still runs like new and never had a problem, and i play 24 hours a week.

My friends bought PS2s the day they came out (so did I) Mine's the only one to survive so far, one of my friends keeps getting the Disc Read Error, and the other's just stopped working, and tried to sell it. Mine runs fine, though...
