Well, it was worse than I originally expected way back when I first heard of it, but it was better than I expected after looking at the review scores before I was able to pick up my copy.

I think he means missing features they told us about, heres a few I can think of that caused me to get so dissapointed after hearing they were gone, the game was actually better than I thought it would be:
*Real-time damage, you can wrap cars around poles and crumple the frame and shape of the car, instead of just denting the outside panels.
*Damage to interiors of buildings, you can even knock over some walls but that might help or hurt you in the progression of the mission, and you "can make a plasterers nightmare" implying you can destroy the insides of buildings like the scene from the first Matrix in the elevator room.
*Edmonson once said "you can walk into a room with two MAC10's," but there are no dual weapons.
*Pedestrians will enter stores, drink coffee, chat (they sit with eachother but don't say anything), take their cars for gas (theres no one at the gas stations)
Thats all I can think of right now, but if I go look at my FAQ's thread which I made before the game came out based on articles I read, I bet I could find at least 10 more. The last two reasons being left out didn't bother me too much, but the first two I was really looking forward to since I like destruction.

Glitch..Glitch....Glitch............Glitch..................thats all I keep running into in the game. Not only was the game delayed in release, it is possibly one of the most glitchy (is that a word?) games I have ever seen.
Sony and XBox need to be like the PC and somehow have an update service (like Windows Update, especially Xbox being made by Microsoft themselves) because D3 is getting ridiculous with the stuff I'm running into on the PS2 version.
