Is it true that Buzz Saw Falls is no longer at Silver Dollar City??? If so Why???

I had heard they were ripping it out.

The story I heard was that they couldn't fix the issue with the boats getting swamped upon leaving the station. Personally, I didn't have any significant objection to it -- heck, it's a water ride, you're supposed to get wet -- but it sounds like the typical Silver Dollar City guest didn't like their feet getting soaked by that issue. I don't know where I saw the article, but somewhere I read that SDC intends to replace it with a more traditional type of coaster, rather than a water coaster.

It has been a long time since I have been to that park but about 15 years ago, didnt Silver Dollar city have a water boat ride, that the people that were going to ride all had to stand on a scale to get weighed before they could ride it because the boats would get stuck? I dont know if it is buzz saw falls, or a previous water boat ride...but I remember it clearly, my whole family having to stand on this scale in order to load the boat...
