Please help! internet probs

ok i have a router and i want to play UT2k4 on the internet except i cannot because the "internet" tab in the multiplayer menu is always blacked out so i cannot click on it, i have opend and port forwarded all the ports that UT2k4 needs for the internet, but it still will not work, please could someone help me !!! (btw i do own a legit copy UT2k4 and it works fine on the internet when i take my pc to a friends place )

What kind of Router do you have? Most recent models will have an option for "Gaming mode" which should help. Barring that I'd see about disabling the firewall functions on the router. Although the hardware part of it can't be changed, some routers let you disable certain modes that can stop programs from having internet access.
