How can Anguirus perform beam struggles?

Sonic Roar just does seem suited to beam struggles, and anything I imagine looks really silly. What do you think happens?

Personaly, i hate they gave him a projectile weapon at all, but, i think they will increase his defence to " block " the beams.

It's a good point you make. Anguirus' "beam" just doesn't make sense when it comes to beam wars. I am curious as to what the final result will be. Ricebwl? Any answers?

In the first Game Informer video (Godzilla vs. Anguirus), both monsters fired their beams at one another at the same time on several occasions and they never locked. Godzilla's always came through victorious. Therefore, I do not believe Anguirus is capable of "beam-locking".

Anguirus will not be able to beam fight. Lewis is correct that Anguirus has much higher defense than some of the other monsters.

I'm glad about this for two reasons.

1. This diversifies the monsters even further (some can beam lock, some can not)

2. A super-heated radioactive energy blast evenly locking with a roar would just be ridiculous.

I am happy that angeruis can't do the beam lock. I am glad now I can do the beam lock godzilla90's and mechagodzilla90's did in the movie and have rodan on my side fighting.

What about Jet Jaguar? In the videos I have seen him in, he does not seem to have a true beam. It's more of a wave of energy that does all it's damage in one hit. Can he beam struggle?

I wish they had never gave Anguirus a Projectile in the first place. It's just not him.

I agree, but once in awhile it could come in handy... very rarely.
