I think it's godzilla raids again. no dvd release, and a video release in the eighties. I think I'm one of the few on this board that actually had owned it at one point(passed it on to another g-fan over the net, I got the original dvd for it).

I still have the Goodtime's VHS with the original box(Has Godzilla and Anguirus on the cover locking hand's). The tape's in poor condition but the box is still mint.

I got an 89 video treasures release. My favorite line is the "Angilas Killer of the Living!" part. I also have a boot of the sub. Hopefully Sony will consider picking up this one too.

I'd say Godzilla vs. The Smog Monster. I actually got my hands on GRA (still own it), but I was very lucky to manage to find Godzilla vs. The Smog Monster in a video store. We will soon get a DVD release, but it will be the international dubbing without the Save the Earth song dubbed. Therefore, I consider it to be the rarest Godzilla film in North America.

Yeah GRA and Smog Monster are generally thought of as the two rarest. I managed to get an Orion release of the Smog AIP dub. But alot of the AIPs are hard to find period now.

No way Smog Monster is easy to pick up and I live in the UK where no kaiju films get realised on our region setting (except the Gamera trilogy). GRA is possibly the hardest or Godzilla vs Biollante. I was fortunate enough to pick up a dvd of the latter a few months ago that was in mint condition.
