Do u need a network adaptor for the password sharing thing. It sounds like not but idk how that would work.
No, the password part of Budokai 3 doesn't require a network adaptor. Once you customize a character in budokai 3, it will give you a password for it. Then all you do is post your password on forums such as the one on this site and people will be able to put that password in their budokai 3 and fight against your customized character.

thats kinda odd, but it sounds pretty cool. I just dunno how other ps2's can get ur character without some sort of internet connection.

I think you just need an internet connection and you'll be on your way.
no no. there is no internet connection of any kind needed for this. when you customize a character, the game will make a password for your specifically made character. put the password on a forum like the one here and then ppl can put that password in their game like a cheat code and they'll fight the char you made.
get it? its just giving ppl passwords, there is no connection whatsoever.

i think that the password will acctually be a mathematical code that represents all of your characters stats and info. i saw a code in a video and the code was rather long so it is possible.

that makes sense on how it could be done without a network connection.

That's right, that's how it works.
Internet connection as in hooking up your ps2 to your computer or internet connection as in passing the passwords around by forums?

They should mention this at the password section here.

See, the passwords are just codes that represent every single uniqe characteristic of your character. For example, IF 67-b represented green pants and 32-s represented no shirt, then if your character included 67-b and 32-s in their code makup, that means that your character has green pants and no shirt. Get it?

No no, I told you already, no connections. The people would receive your customized character by putting your character password that your game made for you on their copy of Budokai 3 and then the game would make the specific character. No hooking the ps2 to the CPU, nothing, nodda. Just play the game, make a character, receive a password from your game, post it on a forum made for it like the one on this site and then other people can put that password on there budokai 3 and fight your character. GET IT!?
Seriously, how can you not understand this when I have now explained it to you 3 times?

Dont worry man, i understood this a long time ago...its just that some people can be really slow sometimes...:p
I knew you understood it. This guy is just getting on my last nerves, thats all. The impatience for Budokai 3 is going to my head. lol

Then you would end up with a cast listing of roughly 129 characters not including transformations or hero characters.
So they aren't likely to put that many characters in... but I do in my RPG! lol check it out!
Legacies 2, go on, you know you want to! (http://www.freewebs.com/ultimate_gohu/)
Ain't it fun? Also you can post your codes on my forum too, so that way this isn't completely unrelated. :D
