Cheats & Crashes 101

Hello evryone, I just wanna let evryone know that in i bought the Prima official game guide and it has the cheats in it. But what so dumb is that i can't play the game for more than 20 min. B-4 the crash. I believe atari has rushed this one to the shelves B-4 fixing all the problems. Take a look at the forum alot of people are having trouble with same issue. I know a patch will be out soon ( I HOPE ) because otherwise i feel i wasted alot of money on what i believe to be one of the best RTS games of all time. I have taken all the measures atari needs ( tech support ) logs,dxdiag's ect... I can play C&C Generals zero hour just fine.
but new user to win xp proffesional wondering if service pack2 is worth it ??????:down: I've had no problems with 98se. Just wanna enjoy a really good game PLZ HELP ME:(

Have already put xp service pack 2 nvidia video drivers 61.77 the latest drivers MSI 6712 via chipset motherboard 512 ddr 2700 amd 3000+ whats wrong with this, meets all the requirements easily. ??????? K

Winxp pro is wasent particularly designed for gaming use. The regular win xp works great for gaming.

Winxp has a feature that u can change "Program Compatabilty". What it does is that u access the Icon by right-clicking on it and clicking on properties. Then look for the tab Program Compatabilty. Try selection for the Windows NT option or windows 2000. that could fix some problems some people are having with crashes.

For me my game hasent crashed or froze or anything wrong with it. Hope it can work for the people here.

Oh i guess u didnt get the message i typed in earlier post. I found that i can drop my console and get the cheats to work by changing my compatablity.

hey thanks for info changed back to 98se on compatability in xp proff. and no crash in 2 camp. and 1 online game thanks a bunch. if you want the cheats that work ingame e-mail me and i'll e-mail them back to u! thanks again.

i see the cheatcode in the console.txt
but how can i active the console mode?

All i did was change the program compatability to Windows nt setting and the console dropped right there. Kinda sad that others arent getting it to work on thier computers.:mad:

Found this on the TimeGate message boards about Axis and Allies....I havent been home yet to test, so take this with a grain....or maybe half a bag of salt.

Hit <Enter> and type in:

enigma -removes fog of war
fieldpromotion -provide 100 experience points
swissbank -provides 100 monetary units
isurrender -automatic defeat
rosieriveter -eliminates build time for structures and units
veday -automatic win
