More Air Units

The Number of Air Units has obviously been completely shorted. There are only bombers, with escorts. What about fighters? Surely there could be more types of air based units in the game?

Hopefully this and the lack of Navy on the WWII map are intentional omissions to allow for a future expansion to include them :)

It appears that it isn't too difficult to make it so one can order fighters to a destination.

Perhaps instead of carpet bombing being a general special ability, it could be done from an airfield. Of course, it would have to be made less powerful, but it would be nice to have a strategic air campaign.
