A normal day at the mine, ready to work, then suddenly, you make a WRONG TURN! AHHH. Next thing you know your plummetting straight down inside a dark, old, decaying mine. The walls are crumbling, the roof is lowering, will you make it out alive?
Ahem, ok, so anyways, ya thats the concept of my new ride I built.
Now, to give you the feel that you made a wrong turn I used three different techniques.
1) I made a seperate track veering off to the right of the real coaster, this is to show the track you SHOULD have turned at, the 'safe' track.
2) Lighting- I put some lighting sources at the end of the tunnel of the 'safe' track to show you that it truly IS safe and I kept the 'dangerous' track that you are on dark to give you the feel that its the unsafe way.
3) Signs- I put 3 signs in this room that the wrong turn takes place that say "DANGER" and "TURN NOW" pointing the the direction of the 'safe' track.
Here's a screenshot of this:
http://img110.exs.cx/img110/3913/Shot0201.jpg
Ok so now after this scene you enter a dark decaying hallway and at the end is half a barrel roll then a quarter loops then a long horrifying vertical drop into the depths of this dangerous mine that can cave in at any moment. Now here's some shots of this:

http://img37.exs.cx/img37/4987/Shot0204.jpg
http://img37.exs.cx/img37/4073/Shot0211.jpg
Once this scene ends your back at the surface home sweet home, litterally:

Hope you guys like my idea. I'll start uploading the park for you guys to download and experience firsthand. I also have a video if anyone could please host it for me, thanks.
Also, I'll be uploading some tracks that I have for download as well and will post them here with screenshots.
Edit: I forgot to mention how I built the coaster underground. All I did was build a 30x30 hole (maybe smaller) using the "snap tiles in increments for rides and scenery" built the coaster inside, then using the same 30x30 tool, I raised the ground around the coaster to fill in all the gaps inside the hole. I then put a roof over the whole thing. TIP: Probably the one thing that allowed me to place the roof over the hole was changing the camera control to advanced with 2 controls, b/c I can then aim the camera looking straight down into the hole and when I realease the mouse button, the view doesnt move.

Milkdud, what a great coaster...had a lot of fun "riding" on it. A couple times during the ride that I lost my bearings and couldn't tell up from down. I liked your use of the wooden walls behind the decayed walls to create the overall decaying effects--great job! :D

Thanks alot Mike! :) Ya I thought putting the wooden walls behind the walls with holes would add the effect that your still in a mine and not in a castle or something AND it adds to the decaying effect.
I tryed to make a video but i keep getting error messages when trying to save/compress it...

FInished my new Giga Coaster- The Tango Tangle. After i built it and tested it out, I was really happy b/c the excitement rating was 8.26 and intensity was only 4.30. However, I saved the track design, then rebuilt it and the stats were now E:7.86 I:4.77. SO I'm stumped, but whatever, I guess adding some scenery and animatronics will boost it back up to 8. So here is The Tango Tangle.

Edit: Heres my new Floorless coaster, Bushwacker, as well. Excitement 8.10. Stats are on the screenshot.

Nick,
Where do I download the file of your ride to? I know its a file in RCT 3 documents but there is like 5 folders. Also once its downloaded, how do I get to it from RCT 3?
Does anyone else know this?

Are you ever going to post that video for Wrong Turn mine ride? If you can't, can someone else? I really want to ride it, but I don't have RCT 3 yet...

Save it in My DOcuments>RCT3>Parks, then when you load RCT3, go to sandbox, load sandbox and choose wrong turn.
BTW, the ride is mine not Nicks :p
Belloman, sorry but I cant release a video, it keeps comming out bad :(

Well, what I said about not being able to make a movie....I guess I lied. Thanks to Mikeyca, I was able to make a nice smooth video for you all to enjoy, sorry that theres no music though...its my first movie.
Wrong Turn movie (http://www.nicksvideo.com/tycoon3d/WrongTurn.wmv)
Edit: I made one WITH music now, here it is:
Wrong Turn video with music (http://www.nicksvideo.com/tycoon3d/Wrong%20TUrn%20with%20Music.wmv)
I've also made a new Woodie which I think is really awsome because the track is very compressed, meaning the track is all tangled up in itself which looks pretty awsome while riding it. So here is Knotted Wood:

Edit: Well heres another tightly packed coaster. This time its a twister coaster called the Pink Panther, check it out:
