Is this an old topic/gripe? I'm a new player....the pc game has way too many problems....worst so far is not being able to land fighters after combat on Carrier .Carrier in sea terrirtory is counted as sea territory, not an extra move.
 :weird:

I think you are playing the AAA version, not the game this forum is for.

What is AAA?
How many versions of Axis & Allies are there?
I purchased one recently off Ebay for approx. $7.00 which is
like the board game.
The most recent version is $50.00 and is way different, with Real Time play or something, which is a way-big fad which, personally, I'm not that thrilled with. I don't have hundreds of hours to spend trying to fight a battle which should be resolved with ratios and random chance. Time to move on to the next battle.
Shouldnt there be a more clear nomenclature / abbreviation which relates something topical ? Timegate? Come up with something that makes sense.
You people here on the Atari chat site need to straighten up and act decent.
Don't act like the spoiled brats that it might seem you are.
So ....are there some good answers out there?

This game is a real time strategy game made by Atari and TimeGate. I believe you are playing an old version of the board game that was done by Hasbro Interactive several years ago.
Here's more information and screenshots about the RTS Game:

"spoiled brats that "
wow. go seach the forum for aaa can you should find the right forum to post for the board game.
"abbreviation " i hate this as well, the answer to you question is above.
you must have got the old version for sure.
Anyway the one with RTS, when i use Quick Resolve( Random) the game lated only 1 hr. I do prefered the old board game version which we download for free( open source).

yes, the quick resolve makes for a playable game....the other way is like quicksand.
I do have both games and unfortunately the one that replicates the board game has terrible bugs/ glitches which totally RUIN it.
Other than that, it would have been my choice.
