How do you embed images in threads?

How do you embed actual images into messages so they display automatically?

When I try to use the IMG tag, it looks like this:

Tye image does not appear...only the link.

instead of IMG, type SCREENSHOT into the brackets.

That worked sort of...but the actual image wouldnt display, and it resized a small image to 800x600...
