Greetings all! I would like to share my first attempts at making on-ride videos. They may not be as good as some of the others I've seen here, but one thing that struck me about many of the videos posted here was they don't have any sound. Many have a musical track but no actual sound. With these 2 videos, I wanted to produce something that also had the sound effects. This was actually a far more complicated task than it sounds, but I did manage to enhance the aural experience to some small degree.
Also note that while both of these rides resemble actual rides they are not intended to be re-creations in any way.
Now for a question: Is there any way at all to remove the interface from the screen when not in the coaster-cam mode? If not, can anyone suggest a good (cheap) product that can crop the video image and re-size without too much hassle?
You can download both videos from the links below.
Feedback is welcomed and appreciated!
Spaced Out Mountain (MPG format - 20MB) (http://jupah.com/shared/mountain.mpg)
Chamber of Horrors (MPG format - 32MB) (http://jupah.com/shared/chamber.mpg)
