With the ongoing retro craze, wouldn't it be cool to have a legal Atari ST emulator (released by Atari) for the PC? It could include some of Atari's own old programs and be able to run others that you may still have. I miss Airball.

I was under the impression that the emulators are legal, but the end user must supply the ROM of his/her existing ST system in order for it to run legally, and providing the ROM files to anyone else is the illegal part - am I mistaken? I have an Atari 8-bit emulator, and I followed steps from an online guide to make a working copy of the ROM from the Atari 800 that my parents bought me for $900 back in Christmas of 1981. I was able to copy over all the programs I wrote in BASIC, and in general make disk images of all my floppies, including all the games I own for it. From the legality disclaimers I have read, I am operating 100% compliant with the fine print.

Steem? 1337. There's Steam, and then there's Steem.
