CHAT CHAT CHAT
What better a way to meet your fellow future players. Get together and chat away!

IRC (Internet Relay Chat) channel #Dragonshard has been created by Dragonshard.net for fans of Dragonshard, Wizards of The Coast and the World of D&D in general to hang out together and talk about the games we love. To join the channel and chat with the other users you will need an IRC client like mIRC (http://www.mirc.com) or you can use Dragonshard.net's convenient web based IRC client.

If you have mIRC installed simply click here (irc://irc.darkmyst.org/dragonshard) to automatically launch it and connect directly to the channel. If you would prefer to connect manually then here are the details:

Server: irc.darkmyst.org
Channel: #Dragonshard

If you don't have an IRC client installed just click here (http://www.dragonshard.net/chat) to launch Dragonshard.net's web based IRC client. The chat client will open in a new browser window. A security warning window may/will pop up. This is normal. It is quite safe to click "Yes" to proceed to IRC. Don't forget to change your nickname once you join the channel. Instructions on how to do this appear above the chat window.

Please practice common courtesy when you visit #Dragonshard. Avoid SHOUTING IN ALL CAPITALS, spamming and warez talk!

Better having no chat-room than an under-populated one.

Every chat room starts off slow. It takes time for people to even realize it exists.

I'd second that if this message board got 10 posts per minute.

I get what your saying. I am simply saying eventually it will be busy on all fronts :) I should also point out it was a chat room that the Dev's gave their first official chat..which I was a question taker for. So they have their purpose. Albiet slow and/or dead at the moment.

If you build it they will come. Worked for Kevin Costner LOL

If the notice is given out far in advance, and the game is known by many, you may reach the chat to 500 users, if not 1000+. :)
