[PC] Freezing problems?

Have freezing in the following situations:
Completing chapter 2 (freezes on showing the ogre gloves)
Loading some games
Saving some games

All drivers up todate. Notice some similar rants. Don't suppose anyone knows any solutions or word on a patch?

Clarificaiton:
Game doesn't actually freeze / lock up, just nothing happens. Any background swirling graphics goes on fine, just game never saves/loads/progresses.
