Somethings been bugging me for a while now, and its regards to a theme park i have been to, but i can't remember anything about it.
I'm trying to see which theme parks in the UK i have been to, but this one I am not sure about.

Does anybody know (or remember) a yellow or brown coaster that is in some woods somewhere in one of the parks, and has a large (height of the caoster roughly) chainlink fence between the caoster and a spectator area.

This was sometime around the early 90s when i went to the park, (i was about 6/7) and i know it must be a fairly major park as the track design looked like an arrow coaster and was very big. I know it is not Alton Towers, Chessington, and American Adventure, though my history of Thorpe Park is a little sketchy, i don't think is was there, but it might have been.

But this park was somewhere in the south of England (not much further north than Oxford).

Is this a lost cause?? Too little detail, I would just like to know as its been bugging me.

And Blackpool is nowhere near Oxford, it about 100 miles north of Oxford. Possibly Oakwood in Wales? Its the only big park apart from the ones you mentioned that I can think is anywhere near a just north of Oxford line

it may be actually, i've know i've been there, i've just never taken it into account.

EDIT: actually it can't be, i only went to Oakwood when i lived in wales, which was about 4/5 years after visiting the park in question

And i've just had a horrible thought - anybody got any really old pictures of CORKSCREW @ AT

was there ever a point when a large fence was put on one side of it? It seems to be the most likely choice, and i do remember going to AT sometime around the period in question

yup, there was a large chainlink fence put up to the left ofthe lifthill and also around the first two drops inthe late 80's when it first opened. this must be the one you were thinking of because there weren't any ( major ) looping coasters darrrrn sarrrf at that time....
