Ok, These rides have been confirmed as being built in Europe in 2005

Alton Towers, UK - Rita, Queen of Speed, an Intimin Rocket Coaster in Ug Land, replaces Boneshaker. This coaster has no inversions but should launch you up to 62mph in 2.8secs! It opens just before Kanonen allowing Alton Towers to claim the first Rocket Coaster in Europe.

Avonturenpark Hellendoorn, Netherlands - They will get a new sit down steel coaster with no inversions. Being as the park have just got rid of their Zierer Tivoli - Medium family coaster I suspect another family type coaster will replace it in the same location.

Blackgang Chine, UK - Is getting an I.E.Park JR30 family coaster. I.E.Park appears to be an Italian company who have recently started building kiddie and family coasters. They use the same style of track as junior Pinfari's and have built 4 coasters (3 in the UK, 1 in Germany). No idea of location.

Drayton Manor, UK - Barnstorm, a Maurer-Sohne X-car Coaster. I don't know where this will go but I suspect it will go on the old Klondike site as this coaster is leaving the park (see below)

Drievliet Family Park, Netherlands - Will get Dynamite Express, a Mack powered mine train coaster. No idea where this will go.

Erlebnispark Strasswalchen, Austria - Wild Train, the park's first coaster will open this year. It has been built by PAX company. No other information is known.

Europa Park, Germany - Super Splash, the park's second water coaster built as usual by Mack GmbH (The park's owners). This will be in the new Portugal area and will be themed around a Columbus theme.

Funland Amusement Park, UK - They have bought the old Klondike Gold Mine from Drayton Manor and installing it as their second coaster. Being as the Klondike Gold Mine (a Pinfari ZL42) has a loop, the park also gains it's first inversion. Location unknown to me.

Flamingo Land, UK - Is aquiring TWO new coasters for 2005, A Vekoma SLC and Booster Bike. No names have been released and I don't know the locations, but again I would suspect one on the Thunder Mountain site and one replacing Magnum Force and Bullet all of which close this year.

Gardaland, Italy - Sequoia Adventure, a world first S&S Screaming Squirrel is being added for 2005. This coaster hangs you upside down several times on it's descent back to earth. In RCT3, this model type is refered to as an Inverted Wild Mouse. No idea of current location.

Liseberg, Sweden - Kanonen the second Intimin Rocket coaster to open in Europe this year. It features 2 inversions, a loop and a zero G roll. No idea of where it will be in the park.

Mirabilandia, Italy - Will get a L&T Systems Junior Coaster. Name and Location unknown

Parc Saint Paul, France - Formule 1, a PAX company Wild Mouse (Formula 1 model) is being added to the park this year bringing their coaster total up to 5. Again no ideas where this will go.

Parque de Atracctiones Madrid, Spain - Tarantula, a Maurer-Sohne Spinning Wild Mouse is being added. This is the quite popular Xtended SC 3000 model that many parks feature in their coaster line up. Guess what, I've no idea of where it's being built

Powerpark, Finland - They are getting a Vekoma Boomerang. It will be the first boomerang to use Vekoma's new open sided trains. Location and Name not known.

Plopsaland Hasselt, Belgium - Their first coaster will be a pirate themed, indoor family coaster. Manufacturer, name and location unknown at present.

Sarkannieimi Amusement Park, Finland - Trombi, a Zamperla Volare flying coaster. As usual this model features a spiral lift, which defines the Zamperla design from the B&M and Vekoma designs. Location unknown but from pictures it looks to be by a lake.

Thorpe Park, UK - Ok this is not a coaster but you might be intrested anyway. Thorpe Park is getting two new flats this year, an S&S Sky Swat and the world's first S&S Screaming Swing.

Are you on about new rides in 2006 or 2005, because the title says 2006, but your post talks about 2005

According to RCDB.com there are a few listed for 2006.
Flamingo Land Theme Park&Zoo (England) is getting a steel Inverted.
Oakwood Leisure Park (Wales) is getting a steel sitdown.
Paulton's Park (England) is getting a steel sitdown.
Power Park (Finland) is getting a wood coaster.
No names or stats have been posted.

Edited, sorry I meant 2005. 2006 isn't so certain yet. Thorpe park has also named its new flat rides. The Sky Swat will be called Slammer and the Screaming Swing, Rush. Sorry for any confusion

just a small thing - Kanonen has just two inversions, a Vertical Loop and a Zero-G roll, The Top-Hat is an outside version, therefore it doesn't invert

RITAs track has been completed - just the station and additional themeing to go:) It has the same car model as Xcelerator (albeit in different colours) but unfortunately has OTSRS:(

I thought they were getting lapbars as a track has no inversions? Mine withe all the bad press over intimin's lapbars last year I could see why Alton Towers could want them for safety.

from the side the look very minimal - about 2 - 5 cm thick
but then from the front they are big fat things, which will ruin the experiece over the nice curvy airtime hill thing they got:(

Update: The Log Coaster, which operated at Gulliver's Land (Milton Keynes) between 1998 (when the ride was new) until 2004, will open at Dreamland, UK for the 2005 season.

GO BLACKGANG CHINE.

I used to go there ages ago nearly every year when I visited the Isle of Wight.
It used to be a great park with the adventure Park at the edge of the cliff, but now the sea is eroding to many decent old things.

The weather wizard and several other things scared me .

What Rumpus Mansion, yeah?

They still have most things in the park, they keep moving things from the south to the north, either side of the car park.

Most new attractions are west of car park.

Heres a map
