I don't have any details at the moment.
I do have A link for the some screenshots.

How does it look? I haven't had time to track down the details. If anyone finds out anything about this game, please post the facts here. Thank You.

Wow... That does look like RCT3 is getting some serious competition.

Seems kinda pointless to me...just place a ride down and ride it...thats basically what RCT3 is for..plus you can intergrate people and rollercoasters

Really...Where did you find that bit of information? Please remember that I asked members for factual information, not assumptions or rumors. Thank You.

looks good, except i noticed it was in German or other European language in the control panel in the top picture. That, and it looks a little sloppier than RCT3. It looks like a version of SIM Theme Park that was given some real rides and a real looking control panel in some aspects. But that's just what I think. Also, it's in a windowed mode, so most likely, the power of the game is going to be lessened by that, which isn't bad if u have to flip through stuff while playing.

What else would you do?

It will never beat RCT3 ;)

That's an assumption. Please don't clog this thread with that type of thing. This thread was made for discussion of factual information. The only opinion I've asked for so far was based on the graphics. Thank You. :D

dude, i'm sorry, but that is the type of conversation u r going to get around here, so lighten up. it's not a big deal

I am lighting up. (420) Actually I've come to expect A more mature discussion in this forum. This is not A thread for unsubstantiated claims. It causes too much confusion.

i guess only to you, as this is what we do to new things that pop up... we give our opinions on them. and seeing as u were the one to mention this in the 1st place, then u'd probably know more about it than not. so, u r bound to get opinions on any given subject, so please don't worry about it, they're not a big deal. that's why a scroll bar was created:haha:

You asked my opinion and my opinion is, it will never beat RCT3. Apparently you want me to elaborate so I'll say that NL is very good at coaster simulations and should stick to that. Let RCT3 handle the amusement park simulation.

Hello Everyone,
I'm not trying to be an evil dictator. I had two major concerns while creating this thread. (1) Submission of misleading information. (2) RCT3 loyals comparing the two. We don't have much information on NL Fairground Sim yet, so at this point, it is illogical to compare the two. It's very obvious that NL:FS will not be A strong competitor against RCT3. It's only A Fairground Sim. At first glance, it seems to be an early version of A much larger development, made primarily for market testing and notoriety. If all goes well, we just might have an alternative to RCT in the future. I wish I shared the same enthusiasm for RCT3 as some of you, but the playability issues have ruined it for me. Thank You. ;)

dude, Duane,
as i have already said, if u post things like this in a forum that is dedicated to RCT games, u r bound to get all the issues and opinions people can come up with....
oh, and i might add, the control panel feature seems like it could help people train to do the real thing:D

I completely understand what you are saying. That is why this thread was placed in the Amusement Industry Discussion Forum. I can only imagine the response this thread would have recieved if it were placed in the RCT3 and Expansion Packs Forum.
I welcome everyone's opinion. However, I do frown on bold, vague statements that are based on little to nothing.

Aoshi67's statement wasn't A big deal. In fact, I shouldn't have quoted Aoshi67 in A message that was intended for RollerC. That was my mistake. I am sorry Aoshi67. You were just sharing your enthusiasm for RCT3. I knew coming into this, that the two games would be compared. I hope to have some facts on NL:FS very soon. Then we can compare the features, instead of the graphics. I have searched high and low for information on it, with no success. I can't even sqeeze any information out of Mad Data. It looks like it might be A while before we have A confirmed release date.

At this point, I only ask for the assumptions and educated guesses to not be listed as facts. RCT2head has been setting A great example in that reguard. Thanks for reading, and don't be afraid to post. :D

cool...
dude... mad data has had some pretty good stuff before. if i remeber correctly, i thought i saw their logo on my NoLimits demo. they also had some bad stuff, like the rollercoaster builder... it was pretty bad, and the graphics kept getting color skewed. so i'd imagine that this new game is a cross between the two, plus some elements from real parks, like the realistic control panel. so when's it supposed to be released, and is their going to be a demo?

NLFG will be screen saver type of application with flat rides all licensed from Huss. It was developed by some friends of mine. Each flat ride is simulated with real physics and can be fully controlled. There are lots of camera views and a true walk mode. The ride programming can be saved for later use in the screensaver mode.

Release date in germany, with pic of cover.

I'll keep digging.

so that means we save a vid in the game, and that could be our new screensaver

its a pretty damn good simulator- even i bought it, and i never buy anything.
you can import a rct1 track too once you buy it.

but for a tycoon type game, rct is one of the best
