Pretty self-explanatory. I know it's just a prototype, but I was wondering if anyone would actually RIDE one.

I'd say probably not... unless they proved to me that it was completely safe.

From RCT3, it doesn't look safe at all.

I'd probably want to take a look at how it works, to see if it looks like there are adequate safety backups in place, but I feel quite certain I'd at least try it once.

dude, i'd say hell yeah...
there's got to be more elements to it than that.
that looks fun.. another reason to fall off a cliff....
too bad all the scenarios i've played in 3 don't have cliffs

I would prefer to ride A tilt coaster with A Thrill Lift. I'm not A big Vekoma fan, but I am exited about this one. http://www.vekoma.com/rides_thrill_mega/thrill_lift/3d_side_s.gifhttp://www.vekoma.com/rides_thrill_mega/thrill_lift/thrill_lift_cad1_s.jpg http://www.vekoma.com/rides_thrill_mega/thrill_lift/thrill_lift_cad3_s.jpghttp://www.vekoma.com/rides_thrill_mega/thrill_lift/thrill_lift_cad2_s.jpg

Anyone fancy a trip to Taiwan?

Hmm... I was not aware that one existed.

Doesn't look like much of a coaster though.

The concept must not be catching on very well if the only one in existence has been operating since 2002. The tilt gimmick seems like it would just slow the ride quite a bit as evidenced by the 2:26 ride time for a mere 1863 feet of track. :o

but it'd most likely up the intensity level by alot

I'd love to ride one. As long as it has proper restraints I don't see why it wouldn't be safe or anything. The suspense would really build going up the lift :D

What if our stratosphere tower had a tilt go up it

I would ride a tilt coaster in a heartbeat!! Just the suspense of waiting for the train to drop would be enough. BTW, has anyone tried placing just the tilt section without the thrill lift in RCT3? The train stays in the same place facing straight down toward the ground for like 30 seconds!

I did A survey for Paramount Parks yesterday. It just asked for opinions of their ideas for new attractions. A Tilt Coaster with A Thrill Lift was one of the ideas.

Hey, Duane, Paramount requested that you do not post any pictures or artwork from the survey on any website, including this one. Could you please take the pictures down? I'm not going to tattle on you, but I do respect Paramount for their frequent customer surveys, and I want them to continue. I also don't want Atari to get in trouble for the link.

Hey, a coaster is a coaster, and if it wanst safe, it wouldn't be opened. I would definately ride a tilt coaster in an instant.
