help with game

i just bought roller coaster tycoon 3. when i loaded it and click on the play button a window pops up that says directx9 not found. however i have unloaded the program and reloaded roller coaster tycoon 3 and when loading it says that directx 9 is properly loaded i have even checked my diagnostics of directx which says there is no problems. i have checked on the website and done everything i can think of. if anyone has any suggestion it would be great. thanks for any help.

What type of video card do you have? Normally when you get that message, it means that your video card does not support directx 9 or you just need to update the drivers for it.
