hi!
anybody knows how to play/convert/etc those .xa files in the music directory?

Try copying the files to MY DOCUMENTS and then do it.
Right-click, Send-To, My Documents.

Why would it make any difference being in my documents? I tried it though.

What are you guys trying to do? put music into the game or take music from the game. Because i would like to know how to do both.

Convert a file from a game into a playable file compatible with the computer.

Well I had another go at trying to play/convert them with several utilities and I don't think they are playstation .xa format, nor are they maxis .xa format, they're something proprietary perhaps.
I guess it's their little way of saying, buy the music cd if you want the sound tracks. Still, it sort of sucks with regards to being able to add in your own music to the game, thanks reflections, thanks a lot.

www.windowsmedia.com has some songs, maybe in the music directory of Driv3r.
