Hi all, some of you may have already gotten a peek at my latest RCT3 park/scenario, 'Maple Valley Park', in the video I submitted for Bitter Jeweler's Feb 05 Movei Contest. Well, the park- and the video - is now available for download. Here are some pics for you:

The park has been set up as a full scenario as long as you save it to your 'Start New Scenarios' folder, but can also be played as a sandbox park by just copying it to your 'Parks' folder.

The park's hours are set for daylight only, as the amount of detail in it can really bog down your PC in night mode. I recommend that as you add rides and costers to the map that you remove whole sections of trees, as this seems to help cut back on the lag. If you play in scenario mode, I've cut the guest generation rate way down- making it a bit more difficult to get the cash flow, but also helping in the overall FPS of the park.

In any case, there's some work to do before you start packing in the guests- fixing paths, finishing a couple of coasters, and hiring staff to name a few.

Wow its a very cool park. I really liked that one coaster thats behind the entrance on that mountain type hill thing. Hopefully Davidmc will come back from the dead soon, so this, and many others that are going away, will not be lost.:D

Good looking park, I just wanted to mention one detail that caught my eye - the way you integrated the curved water ride into the castle's curved wall - that looks terrific!

What a nicely layed out park. Feels open and airy with a nice distance between rides - kind of like in real life. Very nice.

I'm really excited about the large red brick buildings you created and adding the variety to them. The white cement slab as a breaker really adds to the appearance of the walls - I really like that! I'm not sure I'll be able to play the park on my slow computer, but I've saved it anyway for possible exploration in the future. Again, a splendid job.
