View Full Version : Film Director Practice
I was bored a good 12 hours or so ago, and fiddled around in the Film Director. With a good use of chase and tripod cameras, I came up with a pretty good crash clip.
Clip is here (http://www.mod-shack.com/olin/Driv3r%20Crash%20A.mov), requires Quicktime and is approximately 7mb.
Please, do ignore the logo at the top of the screen, and the key/mouse cursor, which I forgot to move out of the way.
Good? Bad?

Pretty good. A little too dark, but maybe that's just my screen. A daytime one would be nice, though.
I can't quite help the darkness. That's almost exactly what it looked like when I was playing. If you happen to have it on PC, I can send you the replay file if you'd like to compare.
I'll do it in the day, but I can't quite garantee it'll run as smoothly. My PC doesn't like Shadows and Advanced Shading, and getting only 15fps with high settings at 640x480 isn't fun. When you're recording the video, the frames tend to drop by up to 20. So.. I'd only get 8fps and lots of skipping at best. I'll try though.
I don't know how to like download it.
Can someone give me directions?!

Download what? The vid? It should play on Quicktime when you open the link.
And no, I have the PS2 version. :)
Never mind, I'm having the worst of luck with it. I got a nice one, but the replay ended just as the car was in mid-air before the crash.
I'll do it sometime after I get some sleep.
