I've started a new competition over at rct3beat.com.

It's a pretty simple concept but challenging nonetheless.

I give you a photo.
You recreate the shot using only RCT3.

It's as simple as that.
The winner will receive a $10 e-mailed gift card to Amazon.com

Check it out! (http://www.rct3beat.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=205)

Note: Open to registered members only!

Now THIS is a neat competition! I love this concept! I actually really want to go in game right now and do this! No contest so far has made me feel this anxious :D:up: I just registered to your great site and I think I'm going to get to work RIGHT now! :D

I agree, Milkdud! cstrfrk, that is a great idea and I'll give it a shot (pun intended). I must admit that I do have trouble understanding the track layout on your photo even though I just looked at it for five minutes. Maybe if you had a map of the layout ready, it'd be easier, but I'll see what I can do.

Thanks for the idea.
A map is up with the camera angle indicated.

Cheers, that did help. If the photo had been taken from higher up I think it wouldn't be necessary and be part of the challenge to figure out the layout, but here it does help.

Thunderhead is the BEST wooden coaster in the world (IMO). The layout is so much fun and you feel out of control. And, the trains don't loose much speed at all. And lets not forget the station fly through! Makes the whole station shake!

Thunderhead is now my #2 best wooden coaster of all with The Beast at King's Island holding my #1 spot.

Thunderhead is crazy. The only straight piece of track is through the station. There are so many little contortions in the design of this ride, it's amazing, non stop action from start to finish. Definetly awesome!

As I'm not judging this one I shall give it a shot! :D
