Over 100 cops responded to this, they used gas and stuff to clear the park. This reminds me of what peeps do in RCT3 when their happiness is at an all-time low. :o

i'm pretty sure this type of thing happens all the time, maybe not a 100 cops with tear gas, but fights can break out over the dumbest things, even at the best parks

It's too bad to see something like this happen at any park. From my visit a couple of years ago, I felt Bell's was a reasonably well-run park, but one that probably was struggling financially. I felt the staff was generally very professional in their operations (paying attention, enforcing rules, moving efficiently), although not remarkably friendly. (The management of the park, however, was exceptionally friendly to me when I wrote to inquire about their hours in preparation for that trip -- they made me feel very welcome, and I really appreciated that.)
Also, I thought Zingo was a very good coaster.
So, I hate to see an incident like this which could severely cripple a small park that probably can't afford the negative publicity. Their small size may have contributed to the issue, since they probably can't afford as much in the way of a security staff as many of the bigger parks, hence making it harder to control an issue before it gets out of hand.

From what I've heard, they have been offered incentives by growing communites around the area to move the park to a better location. I think it would be a positive move to not only put an end to the countless lawsuits from the neighbors around the fairgrounds, but also to allow for better expansion of the park in the future. Right now the park is in dire need of a good makeover (e.g. paint) in order for it to be attractive.
