If Reflections only made Driv3r with only one huge city such as True Crime and GTA. The way it would have been better if they done it this way is the company Reflections wouldnt have to do such long and hard work to design each city in a unique different way. Plus they can also focus on the same type of vehicles like American atomobiles. I mean if you really think about it you will know that this would of been a factor if they done this. They also would have saved alot more money to work on the important asspects of the game such as gameplay. They had to go to many places of each city to take thousands of photos to get the realistic feel and look of what was going to be in the game and this process took a real long time and alot of money. I have alot more things to add on to what i mean about this but it would just take to long just like it took so long to make this game when its still un-finished. You all should know what i mean so i'm just going to leave you all to think about the facts while i go to sleep. Later peep's :p

i know what you mean but i dont agree. GTA cities are fictional so they can be designed with whatever styles they want, and true crime was just awful. i like the diversity of cars and environments in driv3r and i think its one of the games stronger assets, let down by lack of steering wheel support, poor camera options, and no manual gearbox.

.. If Reflections hadn't spent so much time on graphics. But then again, that didn't even save True Crime.
I do like D3's graphics though, when they're not messed up.
The game's shadows and shading are fine, I'm just trying to figure out why they had no realtime reflections in the PC version and why they didn't use better textures on a lot of things.
They could have used better foliage, too..

And better looking people. Although I have to say, the vehicle damage effects are top-notch, and for being pimarily a driving game, the weapon effects(such as muzzle flash, smoke, etc.) are very good.

I know that but what im saying is that if Reflections focused on one city such as Miami then it would have been alot easier to get everything steup before the launch of the game rather than going all over the place while waisting so much time taking alot of photo's of detailed object like builidings and etc. So if they only focused on one city then it would be alot esier, faster and cheaper. Plus basicaly everyone knows how Miami looks so that would of made the process much quiker. You would save alot of money to do this so that means you can focuse on on other things in the game such as gameplay and etc. So i and many of us know that this would have been alot better to do. :downcast:
