is this when you go to open the actual game or when you play a certain map?
tbh that screenie isn't helping me too much :/

When I start the game, it loads for a while then that thingy pops up.

cut and paste to your desktop your user.ini and unrealtournament.ini

start the game. if the problem is solved then copy your user.ini back into your unrealtournament/system directory.

if it dont work, go into your unrealtournament.ini and find the bit that says (near the top);
LocalMap=CityIntro.unr and change it to LocalMap=UT-Logo-Map.unr & save the changes.

post back if it works or not!

None of them worked :/

Taking away the user.ini made no difference at all.
Changing the local map only changed the error a bit, instead of being city intro in the error it was UT-Logo-Map.

post up your unrealtournament.log found in the unrealtournament/system folder.:D

hmmm... the index.unr seems to be at fault, but i was under the impression that was for online games only... try just running in safe mode and see what happens.

assuming you've installed into the default place

start > run
C:\UnrealTournament\System\UnrealTournament -safe

and click the start in safe mode.

I had the same exact error. The only way I got it to go away was by uninstalling iTouch.
