Should there be signature limits?

I've mentioned several times in some posts throughout this forum that if someone thinks a signature is too large to contact me and I will review it. However, at this point, I have yet to recieve a single PM regarding signatures, so I'm taking this here. Simple question:

Do you think that the DBZ section should have a signature limit, and if so, how much

Please vote in the polls, and comment here. If enough people want a limit, I'll put one in place. If they don't, it will continue as is. Thanks.

Yes I do, it is very annoying that people have sigs that take up 1/2 a page.

I say we should be treated with the same sig length as the rest of the fourms.:downcast:

I think 10 lines, thats plenty, and for RPG's keep it on a word document on your computer and update it everytime you level and post your updates so everyone knows your not cheating.

I certainly disagree with that. Someone should not have to scroll down two pages to get to another post because someone wants to have a two page signature.

and btw. u could take out 5-10 of those lines on ur sig simply by taking out the password and saving it to word, and changing the way u show what forums u've joined from vertical to horizontal.

edit- i was checking to see if u changed ur sig and noticed the "vote no" thingy...

...too bad no1 else will see it amidst all that other useless crap.

We at these DBZ forums get away with enough stuff as it is (spamming, fighting, cursing etc...) So I think that we should step up the rules on the sigs I HATE scrolling down 1/2 a page to see one post.

It'd probs be better for people to have a small banner of some sorts for a sig & any accomplishments or characters they have, just have some link to somewhere else to show it all, that way, if people want to see... they can... if they don't, well then they don't just have to put up with it... It can be quite tiresome to scroll down loads when I just wanna read 1 post, especially if multiple posts are made by 1 person with 1 long sig, I spend more time scrolling through the sig than reading the 1 line in their post.

No, but in any forum (IE: Community Chat) they must un-check "Show Signature: include your profile signaure. Only registered users..." unless their signature is 5 lines or less.

Yes...there are some with large sigs that have no meaning....but some big sigs are reasonable...so I say 15 lines is big enough....If you need more room make your on website and put it in your sig....Just a thought!!;)

yeah I think the there should be limits. Some people type all this jibberish in their signature. it's not required because hlaf the time people are interested what u typed not what your sig says. Some peoples sigs are so long i have to scroll down and dwon until I reach the next persons opinion.
