How do you unlock the tournament modes

How do I unlock the higher tournament modes, I only have novice

First beat Novice then Buy Adept then beat Adept and Buy Advanced then beat Cell when he breaks in Dragon Arena

how do u buy adept
is it random, or does it show right after u beat novice?

After You beat Novice go into the shop then go System Capsules then Buy it.:)
